Hello, my name is Kelyla, I am a young mom to two beautiful children and have thrived in the dance world for over a decade. I began dancing at the age of six, and it has consumed every afternoon of my life since. Taking dance seriously and doing a lot of training from a very young age, led me to being in the professional dance world by 15. I have done music videos, back up dancing, dance related shoots and more. As much as I loved doing those jobs, opening my own dance studio was by far the best part of my dance career. I have been teaching dance for 10 years now. In 2020 I got my AA in kinesiology and plan to eventually get a bachelors in dance once my kids are a little bit older. Photography is something I also have a niche for, I do all the photography for my studio along with pictures of my family for different occasions. Outside of dance life , I spend a lot of my time with my kids and giving them experiences in life they’ll never forget. Being an involved and active parent is something I pride myself on. When spending time with my kids, we explore different parks in town or out of town, we like to find cool nature spots and getting wetzel pretzel is always a highlight for them. Going to beautiful hotels and restaurants is something I also love doing, I go on trips regularly to experience new places and enjoy different aesthetics. I am known for shopping a lot, I love nice things along with home decor and I’m obsessed with kids clothing. Bargain hunting is something I’m good at and always find the most amazing clothing pieces or house items at thrift stores. Currently, I working on my social media marketing certificate so I can continue learning how to promote and build my dance studio. Meeting new people is always exciting to me and I am ready to make new friends and learn new skills in this class.
